Special needs soccer team from El Paso ranks #1 in Texas

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- A special needs soccer team from El Paso just ranked number one in the state! A team with the El Paso Special Needs Athletic Group 915 Stars finished at the top of group A at the Texas Special Olympics summer games this weekend.

Another team with Group 915 Stars finished first in group D, while two individual athletes ranked number one and number two in their events.

Group 915 Stars provides an opportunity for people with special needs who are already out of the school system to continue playing the sports they love within the Special Olympics framework.
