Early voting begins for EPISD and YISD Runoff Elections

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Early voting for the June 2023 Runoff Election began Tuesday and will run through June 6.

There are three races on the ballot; two for positions at the El Paso Independent School District and one for a position at the Ysleta Independent School District. All three races are for Board of Trustee positions at each respective district.

For EPISD, the first race is for District 2, and the candidates are Alejandro "Alex" Cuellar and Will Veliz. The second race for District 6 also has two candidates, Valerie Ganelon Beals and Jaqueline Martinez.

YISD's only race is for District 6, and the candidates are Debbie Torres and Chris Hernandez.
