Texas Governor visiting El Paso to celebrate opening of new manufacturing plant
EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Texas Governor Greg Abbott is visiting El Paso Thursday. The governor's office announced the visit Wednesday.
Abbott will deliver remarks at the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Schneider Electric manufacturing plant in Northwest El Paso. The ceremony will start at 10 a.m.
Abbott will be joined by the company's North America CEO, President, and Global Supply Chain Senior Vice President, as well as El Paso Mayor Oscar Leeser and other local leaders.
The new plant is located at 1600 Northwestern Drive.
