EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Tonight's Mega Million Jackpot sits at a whopping $977 million dollars which is a cash value of about $461 million according the the Texas lottery website.

Many people were out grabbing there last minute times. I spoke with one El Paso man who said if he were to win he would retire and take a vacation, an answer we can all agree with.

Since joining the game in 2003 Texas has had 14 Mega Millions jackpot prize winners. Tonight's lucky numbers will be announced a 9pm local time.
