7 people shot, 2 fatally, at a park in upstate Rochester, NY

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) — Police say two women are dead and five other people were injured when gunfire erupted at a crowded public park in Rochester, New York. Authorities say hundreds of people were at an all-day gathering in Rochester’s Maplewood Park when the shooting started around 6:20 p.m. on Sunday. Police say two women died and five people were hospitalized with minor injuries. Police ask that anyone with video of the shooting send it to Major Crimes or contact Crime Stoppers or call either 311 or 911 with any information. No suspects are in custody.
