ComSAR rescues mountain biker in need of assistance

UPDATE: El Paso Fire Department says that a male mountain biker fell off a bike trail and "appeared to sustained leg/arm injuries."

The biker has been transported to the hospital by FireSTAR.

Crews are now coming down the mountain.

UPDATE: ComSAR has located the mountain biker and are now assessing the individual for injuries.

EL PASO, Tx (KVIA)- El Paso Fire received a call at 11:10 am for a mountain biker in need of assistance at the Franklin Mountain State Park near Mammoth Cave.

Crews are working to reach the biker.
