Pedestrian airlifted to hospital near Fort Bliss

A pedestrian was taken to the hospital tonight, after being struck by a vehicle.

It happened on Railroad and Marshall Road, near Fort Bliss.

According to the El Paso Fire Department, the call came in just after 6 p.m.

Officials say one victim was taken to the hospital by FireStar.

The El Paso Police Department says Special Traffic Investigators are on the scene investigating.
