2-year-old taken to the hospital by FireStar

A 2-year-old boy was taken to the hospital by helicopter this afternoon.

According to the El Paso Police Department, officers responded to a water rescue around 12:45 p.m.

It happened happened in the Far East, near 11557 Spencer Drive.

According to the El Paso Fire Department, the patient was taken to the hospital by FireStar.
