Arrest made in double-shooting outside El Paso Lower Valley bar
EL PASO, Texas -- An 18-year-old man was arrested Tuesday night for allegedly shooting and seriously wounding two men during a bar fight earlier this month in the Lower Valley.
Daniel Frausto was arrested by El Paso police and federal marshals at a home in the 5700 of Ybarra. He was jailed on a $750,000 bond and is charged with two counts of aggravated assault.
Investigators said Frausto got into an argument inside the Sudz Bar, located in the 7000 block of Alameda Avenue, in the early morning hours of Oct. 11. That dispute spilled outside and resulted in a fight during which Frausto allegedly pulled out a gun and shot two others.
Police said 44-year-old Raul Fernandez and 46-year-old Sergio Martinez were both seriously wounded by the gunfire.
