Mexican business leaders say BOTA modernization project will impact economy on the border

JUÁREZ, Chihuahua (KVIA) -- The U.S. General Services Administration announced last Friday that it will proceed with the Bridge of the Americas modernization project, which is set to eliminate commercial crossings.

ABC-7 reached out to the Mexican Cargo Transportation Chamber (CANACAR) in Juárez to learn more about the economic impacts the region could see if commercial traffic is removed from 'BOTA.'
