Pandemic business disinfecting offered by Borderland cleaners

EL PASO, Texas -- It's a deep clean, Centers for Disease Control certified, and offered by a local firm with locations in both El Paso and Las Cruces.

"With businesses opening up everyone wants to get back to business and to some normalcy," said Heidi Avedician, owner of ServiceMaster Clean. "We want to make sure we reduce the spread of this virus."

Avedician told ABC-7 that ever since the coronavirus outbreak, they have been doing sanitizing and disinfectant services.

"All the disinfectants we use are approved by World Health Organization and Centers for Disease Control," Avedician said.

ServiceMaster Clean services more than 20 businesses from El Paso to Las Cruces.

"Pandemic cleaning for us is a two step process," Avedician explained. "You first clean the debris which is the dust and then after, you are disinfecting."

Her company services schools, health care facilities, grocery stores, offices, industrial, manufacturing, other businesses and churches.

"We have businesses where we visit every single day, some where we visit five days a week, and some where we only visit twice a week," Avedician said. "It depends on the business or the uniqueness of the business."

She added, "its important for us to make sure the staff of these businesses are safe and healthy, and that is our goal."
