Agreement with Italian gov’t allows embryos to be sent to El Paso for cultivation of world famous beef

EL PASO, Texas -- The Huckabee family is responsible for bringing one of the most flavorful types of beef in the world to the Borderland.

They formed a special agreement with the Italian government to have embryos of Chianina cattle from the Tuscany region sent to the United States for cultivation of the world famous beef in El Paso.

Their Tuscan Cattle Co. is only entity in the U.S. to have received the special permission and embryos from the Italians.

The family's ranch and butchery are in El Paso; the Tuscan Cattle butcher shop is on the corner of Mesa and Camille streets in west El Paso.

Tuscan Cattle offers a wide variety of Chianina certified meat in the butcher shop, plus a café that serves hamburgers and will grill your steaks that you choose from the butchery.
