Las Cruces police in standoff with man barricaded in home
LAS CRUCES, New Mexico -- A Las Cruces police standoff that began late Thursday morning continued into the late afternoon hours.
A man barricaded himself inside a home at Picacho Avenue and 17th Street.
Police said they were trying to serve a felony warrant, but the man refused to come out of the home.
The standoff began at 11 a.m. and remained ongoing as of 4:30 p.m.
