Victim critically wounded in northeast El Paso stabbing attack

EL PASO, Texas -- A stabbing late Saturday night in northeast El Paso left a victim critically wounded, police said.

It happened in the 11210 block of Sean Haggerty Drive.

Police summoned Crimes Against Persons investigators to the scene just before 11 p.m.

The victim was rushed to a local hospital with what authorities said were life-threatening stab wounds.

No one was in custody and police didn't indicate what led up to the attack.
