Bond set at $200k for El Paso man caught standing over stabbing victim with knife

UPDATE, Oct. 22: A man was being held on $200,000 bond after El Paso police arrested him with a knife in his hands standing over a stabbing victim, authorities said Friday.

33-year-old Jesus Luna Vasquez was jailed downtown in the El Paso County Detention Facility on a charge of aggravated assault.

Police allege he stabbed 62-year-old Bruce Edward Foster a total of seven times on Wednesday afternoon in the 1600 block of Magoffin Avenue in central El Paso.

Foster remained hospitalized Friday at University Medical Center in serious but stable condition.

Authorities have not revealed a motive or other circumstances surrounding the stabbing attack.

ORIGINAL REPORT, Oct. 20: EL PASO, Texas — A man was hospitalized after being stabbed in central El Paso on Wednesday afternoon.

Police said is happened about 3:10 p.m. at 1601 Magoffin Avenue. That address is listed as a recently remodeled office building that is on the market.

Authorities said the stabbing victim was rushed to University Medical Center, where there was no word on his condition.

Police didn’t indicate whether any arrests had been made or provide further details about the incident.

  1. The Marxist faction of the Government wants that, not necessarily democrats. Bernie, AOC, Omar etc. There wouldn’t be an ANTIFA without their support. If they can replace law enforcement with their enforcement imagine the power they would have.
