Man arrested for deadly conduct, discharge of a firearm in Northeast El Paso

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- El Paso Police officers arrested a 24-year-old man in the Northeast for a report of shots fired, EPPD said Friday. The arrest happened Wednesday morning at the 3100 block of Titanic Avenue near Devils Tower Circle.

According to EPPD, officers conducted a traffic stop on Daniel Reinert. While investigating, officers found handguns and ammunition in Reinert's car.

Reinert told officers he shot in the air that day and on Tuesday.

He's now booked into the county detention facility on two counts of deadly conduct and discharge of a firearm with a bond of $10,000.
