Electricity restored for over 3,000 in northeast El Paso who experienced weather-related outage

Over 3,000 El Paso Electric customers on the city’s northeast side were without power at one point Monday night due to an apparent weather-related outage.

Utility crews worked in the 10400 block of Dyer Street to make repairs to fix the problem.

The outage involving 3,195 customers was reported just after 8 p.m.; about 90 minutes later that number was cut to 1,500. Just after 11:30 p.m., the utility said power had been restored to all those impacted.
