Bomb squad briefly examines suspicious package on El Paso’s east side
EL PASO, Texas -- A police bomb squad was called out Tuesday evening to examine a suspicious package on El Paso's east side.
The object was discovered in the 1600 block of Dennis Babjack near Leroy Bonse before 5:45 p.m.
Police cleared the area in under an hour after it was determined the package didn't pose a threat.
No further details were provided by authorities.
