No injures, but shed destroyed in smoky Upper Valley brush fire

EL PASO, Texas -- A fast-moving brush fire in El Paso's Upper Valley on Saturday afternoon generated lots of visible smoke and destroyed a shed, but firefighters said fortunately there were no injuries reported.

The fire broke out in dry grass in the 4300 block of Emory Road near Doniphan Drive about 2:20 p.m.

It took about 45 firefighters to knock down the blaze under hot and windy conditions.

A cause for the wildfire had not yet been determined, officials said it was under investigation.
