Man collapses, dies along Lazy Cow Mountain Trail in northeast El Paso
EL PASO, Texas -- El Paso firefighters were called out on a mountain rescue Saturday afternoon after a man suffered an apparent medical emergency and collapsed.
The hiker was found dead by rescue crews on the Lazy Cow Mountain Trail in northeast El Paso during the noon hour; no identifying information about the victim was released.
A cause of death wasn't immediately known, the El Paso County Medical Examiner was called to the scene to make that determination - which may require an autopsy.
El Paso police were also looking into the circumstances surrounding the death.
