TXDOT gives a heads-up on a series of 33-hour closures of I-10 in 2024
EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- The I-10 Widening West Project is adding a third lane to I-10 between Mesa and Vinton. The 3 1/2 year project started at the end of May 2022 and is projected to be completed by the end of Summer 2025.
In order to add that third lane, bridges have to be extended towards the center. This will take a series of 6 33-hour closures of the westbound lanes of I-10 between Artcraft and Vinton. TXDOT's Jennifer Wright has the details in this interview from ABC-7 at 4.
