49-year-old man found dead in Las Cruces mobile home; police call it ‘suspicious’
LAS CRUCES, New Mexico -- Las Cruces police were investigating the "suspicious death" of a 49-year-old man found Friday in a mobile home at a trailer park.
Neighbors in the 300 block of Karen Avenue said William Dean was the victim of an apparent stabbing. Police would not discuss the cause of Dean's death pending an autopsy, but investigators did say they believed he had been involved in a fight prior to his death.
Det. Frank Torres said the fight happened at 2230 Dona Ana Road either Thursday night or early Friday morning. He asked anyone with knowledge of the incident to call LCPD's central dispatch at (575) 526-0795.
