No new virus deaths reported as nearly 60% of eligible El Pasoans now fully vaccinated
EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- The El Paso Department of Public Health announced five new coronavirus cases and did not report any new virus-related deaths Tuesday.
El Paso County's pandemic death toll remained at 2,626.
There are also 14 additional suspected Covid-19 deaths currently being investigated by the health department.
El Paso health department data shows that 59.6% of El Pasoans 12 and older are now fully vaccinated, with 72.6% having received at least one dose.
The number of known active cases now stands at 404.
There are 39 Covid-19 patients in El Paso hospitals, with 18 of those patients in intensive care units.
