Five men in the same car shot at in east El Paso; shooter’s identity remains unknown

UPDATE: El Paso police say an 18-year-old and 30-year-old man were injured after their car was shot at this morning after leaving a "gentleman's club" in east El Paso. Three other men were in the car. The three others were not injured according to police.

The victims' injuries are described as non-life-threatening. Police say all five men were in the same car that was shot at by a person following them in another vehicle.

Police say the shooter's identity remains unknown.

Police have been identified the victims as 18-year-old Jose Alfonso Flores, and 30-year-old Michael Scott Archer.

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- The El Paso Police Department is investigating a shooting that left two men wounded early Tuesday morning.

It happened near Gateway East and Lee Trevino just after 5 a.m.

First responders tell ABC-7 one of the men was seriously hurt, the other suffered minor injuries. A portion of I-10 remains closed near the area.
