Person of interest taken into custody in July 4 parade shooting
UPDATE 5:46 P.M.: Officials say a North Chicago police officer spotted the person of interest in the July 4th parade shooting and following a short pursuit, the person of interest has been taken into custody.
HIGHLAND PARK, Ill. (AP) — Police ID 22-year-old "person of interest" in July Fourth parade shooting who they describe as "armed and dangerous."
The man is named Robert E. Crimo III. He's believed to be driving a 2010 Silver Honda Fit with license plate DM80653.
