Watch: El Paso Fire Department battles downtown fire

UPDATE 3:50 p.m.: The El Paso Fire Department says hotspot suppression operations continue. El Paso St. between Overland and Paisano remains closed. Paisano is open in both directions.

Update 12:09 p.m.: A second fire started on the roof of an adjacent building, but that fire was quickly put out, according to El Paso Fire Dept.

Update 10:48 a.m.: According to El Paso fire, there are 18 units and 50 firefighters on the scene. No injuries were reported.

EL PASO, Texas -- EL Paso Fire Department is battling a condition 3 fire in downtown El Paso.

According to EPFD, the fire is at a shoe store located at the 300 block of South El Paso street. No injuries have been reported at this time.

ABC-7 has a crew on the way to get the latest.
