Large fire reported in Hudspeth County; warning about how it’s moving quickly east, Highway 62-180 closed
UPDATE - DueƱas said in a Tweet that fire operations are continuing into the night. There are no injuries reported as of his latest update.
He also said a pair of structures was damaged by the fire. Those structures are being assessed.
UPDATE 5:48 p.m.: No injuries reported, according to El Paso Fire Department spokesman Enrique DueƱas. Both directions of Highway 62-180 are closed.

UPDATE - Desert Haven Fire: 62-180 is shut down in both directions. Montana Vista Fire Rescue, Dell City Fire, Desert Haven Fire and Horizon Fire units, DPS and TWPS responding. No injuries reported at this time. Stand by for updates.

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- A large fire is quickly moving east in Desert Have on State Highway 62 -180.
According to the Texas Rescue Patrol, multiple fire agencies are responding.
The fire is on both sides of the highway. Highway 62-180 is closed. Texas Rescue Patrol says structures may be the fire's path and evacuations may be necessary.
