El Paso County Judge carries peace torch in international relay

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA)- El Paso County Judge, Ricardo Samaniego, takes part in an international torch relay to promote peace passing the Peace Torch between runners.

The world’s largest relay for Peace and an international team of runners will pass through El Paso and Juarez on April 28-29, 2023.

The flame of the Peace Torch represents The Sri Chinmoy Oneness-Home Peace Run.

The Peace Run is a worldwide relay run where runners carry a torch, which is passed from person to person, as it travels from nation to nation.

The goal is to create a feeling of goodwill among peoples of all nations.
