Man shot, killed near West El Paso entertainment district
UPDATE: (7:27 a.m.) 25-year-old male was shot in the parking lot at the Shops at Glory Road. The shooter fled the scene.
A second shooting occurred at Mesa and Baltimore shortly after. No injuries were reported in that shooting. Law enforcement is looking into whether the two shootings are related.
UPDATE: (5:53 a.m.) The man shot early Friday morning has died. El Paso Police said Crimes Against Persons Detectives are now investigating the shooting as a homicide.

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- One man was transported to UMC with serious injuries from a shooting in West El Paso, according to fire officials.
The shooting occurred on the 2700 block of North Mesa, near the Cincinnati Entertainment District. The call came in past 2 a.m. Friday morning.
Investigators are on the scene.
