Child rushed to the hospital in serious condition after possible drowning

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- El Paso Fire Department officials tell ABC-7 that emergency crews rushed a 3-year-old child to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a possible drowning.

This happened at 14300 Armando Silva Drive in Far East El Paso Thursday morning.

The 911 call came in at 11:15 a.m. as a child drowning. El Paso Fire officials were not able to provide additional details.

El Paso Police units remain at the scene. No other injuries were reported.

ABC-7 has a crew heading to the scene. We will bring you more information as it becomes available.
