Body found near landfill in Sunland Park

UPDATE: An ABC-7 crew has arrived at the scene. They have witnessed Border Patrol agents and Sunland Park Fire crews at the area, working around the area where the body was found.

SUNLAND PARK, New Mexico (KVIA) -- U.S. Border Patrol agents found a body in Sunland Park, according to the Sunland Park Police Chief.

The chief says the man's body was found near a landfill area.

Sunland Park Police have taken over the investigation. No other details are available right now. ABC-7 is working to learn more.
