The Socorro Bulldogs win week fours Sweet Play of the Week!
Down late in the game against Burges High School, the Bulldogs kept fighting!
Quarterback Bryan Leyva dropped back with the ball and found his target Jacob Vetterkind in the back of the endzone for the 20 yard score.
Vetterkind had to jump up to catch the ball, then like a gymnast come down with his feet in bounds.
The Bulldogs may have lost the game but that play will forever be remembered.
When asked about how he was able to get up high enough to make the catch Vetterkind said, “I don’t know, they are just gifts. God given gifts.”
