Locomotive FC to face MLS side Houston Dynamo FC in 3rd round of U.S. Open Cup

EL PASO, Texas - El Paso Locomotive FC will continue its Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup campaign with a marquee third-round matchup against Houston Dynamo FC at Shell Energy Stadium in Houston, Texas, on Wednesday, April 15.

Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. MT, with the match streaming live on Paramount+.

The contest marks a significant test for Locomotive as they face a Major League Soccer opponent, and it is the second consecutive season Locomotive takes on an MLS team, after falling to Austin FC in the fourth round a year ago.

Houston Dynamo FC are two-time U.S. Open Cup champions, having won in 2018 and most recently in 2023.
