ABC-7 First Alert: Possible rain and snow chance

Good Saturday morning to you all. We will have interesting weather today. A cold front continues to push to the south of our area bringing our temperatures down below normal this time of year. Well will top out in the low 50 and upper 40s. However, I know there are a lot of people who are looking for some colder weather, so today will be the day for you. Clouds will increase throughout the day and there is also a chance for some rain and snow.

Overall, the chances for precipitation are low, but there is still a possibility of some of our area seeing some rain or snow flurries. I think if snow occurs, it will be on the Sacramento Mts, as well as the southern portions of Hudspeth and Culberson county. There could be a small accumulation of snow in the upper elevations, and I think some flurries that occur in the southern halves of our far eastern counties overnight.

The chance of our first freeze is likely this morning. I'm predicting lows of 31 in EP and 29 in LC. Monday and through the next week, we will see our temperatures rise to well above average- near 70 degrees- by the end of next week. Enjoy, and send me your snow flurries pics if you see any!
