ABC-7 StormTRACK Weather: Blowing sand can impact Borderland tomorrow

Happy Thursday to you all. Today has been another beautiful day across the Borderland, but after a period of not too windy days, we have one that will impact most of us tomorrow. Throughout the day tomorrow, winds will pick up, and blow out of the NW. Gusts in the morning to early afternoon will likely be around 30, but by the evening, they will be gusting up to 35 MAYBE 40 mph out of the NE.

The wind shift is due to a cold front that will move in between 4-7 PM tomorrow evening. With that said, we could see a bit of blowing sand out of White Sands tomorrow due to the wind direction. Overnight, the lows will be a bit on the cool side, making Saturday a few degrees cooler than the past several days (highs in the upper 70s). However, the cooldown won't last long as by Sunday and Monday we will likely be in the 90s!

Breezes won't be bad on Saturday but will continue for the week ahead. We may also see a shower or storm by Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. We will watch this as we move through the week. Stay safe and hydrate!
