Getting hotter the next two days

Temps will soar again to record highs the next couple of days. Highs will climb to the mid and upper 90's. The record for tomorrow is 97 and 98 for Friday.

Later Friday, there will be a chance for some thunderstorms again that will linger into the weekend.
