ABC-7 StormTrack Weather: Good Friday, cooler temps, winds, and rain Easter weekend

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Your Good Friday forecast is leaning comfortable. Tonight larger changes will push in, in time for Easter weekend. Temps will drop, winds will climb and rain chances will increase.

We started off with temperatures in the 60s. Temps will once again warm to above average. El Paso is expected to reach a high of 85, Las Cruces 82.

For the first half of today we will be dry, calm, and breezy. Later tonight a cold front will push in. We will experience a drop in temperature for the weekend. Winds will pick up tonight with rain chances beginning Saturday.

By Easter Sunday expect temperature highs in the 60s, winds, and a 30-40% chance for scattered rain showers.
