Numerous Borderland schools delayed for Wednesday morning due to winter weather
EL PASO, Texas -- Numerous school districts across the Borderland were delaying the start of classes for Wednesday morning due to the potential for snow accumulations and icy roads.
Classes Canceled:
- Clint ISD
- Fabens ISD
- Dell City ISD (Hudspeth County)
- Tornillo ISD
Classes start 1 hour later:
- El Paso ISD
- El Paso Catholic Schools
- Canutillo ISD
- Anthony ISD
- IDEA Public Schools
- Sunshine Christian School, El Paso
- Triumph Public High School
- St. Mark's School
Classes start 2 hours later:
- Ysleta ISD
- Socorro ISD
- Gadsden ISD
- San Elizario ISD
- Faith Christian Academy
- New Mexico State University
- Doña Ana Community College
- Las Cruces Public Schools
- New America School, Las Cruces
Classes start at 9 a.m.:
- Immanuel Christian School, El Paso
- Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso classes (clinics on regular hours)
- Bibleland Childcare Learning Center, El Paso
Classes start at 10 a.m.:
- El Paso Community College
No class delays:
- UTEP
