StormTrack Weather: First day of Winter brings sunny and cool temperatures Saturday

EL PASO, Texas- Saturday marks the official start of the Winter season. Morning temperatures continue to sit below freezing, but afternoon highs will warm up to the upper 50s Saturday afternoon.

Mostly clear skies today will give way to increasing high cloudiness the next couple of days.

Dry weather will continue across the area through Monday. Day time
temperatures will become a few degrees warmer over the next few
days while winds remain light.

A winter storm system will bring a chance of rain showers and mountain snow on Tuesday.

Dry conditions should return by Wednesday, Christmas Day. Another weather system will impact the area on Friday with a mix of rain and snow.
