City Rep Wants Tougher Enforcement, Safety Standards For Buildings Following Downtown Fire

City representative Steve Ortega is calling for changes to protect historic buildings downtown and develop them to their full potential. This, after a three-alarm fire destroyed a historic downtown building Thursday evening.

Ortega said an emergency administrative meeting will take place Monday to discuss concerns and possible solutions.
