EPPD: Teen fleeing from police struck by hit and run driver

According to police, the 19-year-old hit by a runaway driver overnight was fleeing from police when he was struck.
Investigators said around 2 a.m. on the 1400 block of Lee Trevino, a red Nissan hit the teen.
He was taken to University Medical Center, where police said, he remains in critical condition.
The teen’s name has not been released.
Police said they located and identified the hit-and-run Nissan, but they haven’t made any arrests or charges.
