High school collects blankets for those who need them

El Dorado High School Partnered with the Fire Department and several other organizations to collect blankets for families who can’t afford to stay warm.

They collected over 100 blankets for the Extreme Weather Task Force.

“Now-a-days young people only think about having fun and just doing their own thing. When students want to help out such as the students at El Dorado, it’s just a great thing for the community,” said Grace Ortiz, the Chairman of the Extreme Weather Task Force.

If you know anyone who can use a blanket, call 2-1-1.
