El Paso Electric kills solar project

For years El Paso Electric and the Army’s Office of Energy Initiatives have planned a $46.7 million project.

The project was a 20 megawatt facility that would have been located on 218 acres at Fort Bliss.

Evan Folan explains why the project is no longer moving forward.
