Man in critical condition following stabbing in Las Cruces
A man is in critical condition following a stabbing at an apartment complex, according to a spokesman with the Las Cruces Police Department.
It happened around 7:30 Friday evening on the 1900 block of W. Picacho at the Shadowbox apartments.
Police said the two men got into a fight, when the suspect stabbed a 46-year-old man multiple times. The suspect allegedly ran from the scene.
ABC-7 was told the victim was taken to Mountain View Regional Center with serious injuries.
A LCPD spokesman said a man has been taken into custody, but it is not confirmed if he is the suspect.
A spokesman said the man was found by police about a mile north of the alleged stabbing.
