Overnight I-10 accident involving three vehicles leaves one dead

A serious crash involving a semi-trailer and two passenger cars has left one person dead and two injured.

The crash happened Friday night at approximately on I-10 east at the Tornillo exit.

According to DPS the initial accident was between two passenger cars. This accident left one of the vehicles, a Toyota, disabled on I-10 east. The Toyota was then struck by a semi-truck on the right side.

The occupant inside the Toyota, 45-year-old Elizabeth Valerio, was pronounced dead on scene.

The two occupants, 19-year-old Salem Alfadlhy and 18-year-old Faisal Aldousari, inside the other passenger vehicle were transported to Del Sol Medical center. Their condition is unknown at this time.

The two occupants inside the semi-truck were not injured.
