Cavallini scores in Whitecaps’ 1-0 win over Sporting KC

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (AP) — Lucas Cavallini scored an all-important goal while Cody Cropper stopped the one shot he faced as the Vancouver Whitecaps earned a 1-0 victory Saturday over Sporting Kansas City. The Whitecaps improved to 4-7-2 and Sporting KC fell to 3-8-4.
