Belichick’s impact resonates with Raiders coach McDaniels

HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) — Las Vegas Raiders coach Josh McDaniels can relate to three major influences on his life in football. He watched his father, Thom, for the good portion of a 40-year coaching career. And he kicked off his coaching career as a graduate assistant under Nick Saban at Michigan State in 1999. But neither had a bigger impact on McDaniels’ coaching career than New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick.
