PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas — Robert Carpenter had 26 points as Mississippi Valley State snapped its season-opening 12-game losing streak, narrowly beating Prairie View 84-82 in overtime. Markedric Bell led the Panthers with a season-high 21 points.
