Be Mindful: Managing stress with a good night’s sleep

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Stress can affect our overall health and well-being. When not managed correctly, it could also impact our physical health.

A therapist with Emergence Health Network says when managing stress, it's important to get a good night's sleep for the day ahead.

It's also important to develop healthy habits. "We want to better react to the stressors when they do impact us, how do we do that is, we have to learn what our triggers are, to begin with, " said Lupita Peña, a therapist/counselor, Emergency Health Network

Peña says it's important to know went take breaks during the day to prevent daily tasks from becoming too stressful.
