UMC opens online registration for 20,000 virus vaccinations

EL PASO, Texas-- University Medical Center of El Paso has opened its online registration at 6 p.m. Thursday to accommodate up to 20,000 appointments for vaccination with the Pfizer vaccine.

Those interested in registering can do so at www.UMCelpaso.org.

Unlike past occasions, UMC anticipated registrations would be available for more than just a few minutes. That's because it has 20,000 doses available versus around 5,000 during past registration sign-ups.

All adults are qualified to register on the site. Those who are 16 or 17 years of age can also register but must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian when arriving at the vaccination site.
